Today, I’m happy to announce that Millo is launching two all-new podcasts for freelancers and solopreneurs.

Here’s everything you might want to know about the new shows:

First, the shows are called Freelance to Founder and Sidegig.

Our mission here at Millo is to help freelancers and solopreneurs reach their goals faster and build a life and business they love.

As we thought about what kind of content we could produce to help you on your journey, we identified a few important groups:

Group 1: Aspiring solopreneurs or freelancers (Podcast: Sidegig)

If you’re in this group, you read a lot of blogs, listen to a lot of podcasts, and do a lot of thinking about becoming an entrepreneur.

But you can’t quite seem to wrap your brain around how to get started. Maybe you think you need to quit your job. Maybe you can’t quite figure out the right business model for your lifestyle.

Regardless of what’s keeping you from making the leap into the world of entrepreneurship, Sidegig is a great place to finally get started.

Sidegig is a talk show hosted by 3 guys who have built successful side-businesses all while working a 9-5 job.

Ryan, Ian and I (Preston) swap stories, share tips, and explore the world of building a side-hustle in a raw, unedited, open way—exactly what you need when you’re starting your own business on the side.

Sidenote: Once you finish, read how 4 freelancers built recurring revenue models that changed their business. You'll love it.

Each episode is packed with actionable advice and real-life solutions to the problems you’ll face when starting, growing, or scaling your side business.

Group 2: Successful solopreneurs looking to diversify

Sidegig is also a great resource for you if you’re trying to find ways to diversify your income as a freelancer or solopreneur.

Side-hustles aren’t just for people working a 9-5 job.

You can also find creative new ways to add to the business you’re already building. Diversifying your income—ensuring not all of your eggs are in one basket—is a great way to set your business up for success in the future.

Group 3: Solopreneurs who are ready to scale (Podcast: Freelance to Founder)

If you’ve already made the leap into business and you’ve found some level of success, you’re probably asking yourself: how can I scale my success?

Scaling can mean more revenue and profit, yes. But it can also mean more freedom—less being tied down to your own business.

Entrepreneurs who scale businesses larger than themselves end up owning a valuable asset instead of just creating another job for themselves.

That’s why we’re also launching Freelance to Founder.

Freelance to Founder tells the stories of freelancers and solopreneurs who have scaled their businesses to be much bigger than themselves.

You’ll hear the story of a photographer who literally walked into the offices of Time magazine and asked for contract work. Now he does work for brands like Oprah, Time and The Wall Street Journal.

Episode one starts with the story of a stay-at-home mom who, during the height of the mommy blogging craze, decided to go a completely different direction—a decision that took her business through an important pivot and, ultimately, millions in revenue.

These aren’t interviews. They’re fully produced narrative shows you’ll be hooked on from episode one. The show is hosted by my very talented friend, Dallan Wright.
