From a Boeing cubicle to viral video maker: the story of Caleb Wojcik (FTF 2:4)

Caleb Wojcik wanted nothing to do with the entrepreneurial world.

Caleb grew up knowing what it took to be an entrepreneur. His mother worked in a hospital, but his father made his living as an entrepreneur.

For Caleb, the life his father had was not one he wanted for himself. He avoided the self-employment path, before ultimately being pulled into it.

Caleb desired stability and that stability conflicted with his wanting to pursue his own thing.

In college, he had a double major. His first major was in Supply Management. This was his safe bet.

Caleb’s second major was in Telecommunications. This was more fun and was more in line with what Caleb wanted to do in life.

After college, Caleb found himself at Boeing.

In 2008 when the economy took a hit, Caleb began to re-evaluate his current job. He had a steady job at Boeing, but part of his job was to help managers determine who would lose their job as the economy was tanking.

This is when Caleb started to rethink his career and what he wanted to do with his future.

He decided he wanted to do something else. He eventually left Boeing.

After learning about entrepreneurship and trying a bunch of different things, Caleb made a huge career change and ended up working for a blogger.

His stint with the blogger led to many new skills, valuable relationships, and opened his eyes to what a person could do digitally, instead of what has been done traditionally.

Partnering with some good friends, Caleb helped to build Seeing and helping to support entrepreneurs at gave Caleb the bridge to go from job to freelance.

Caleb was interested in video production and decided the time was right to do it on his own. Now days, chances are pretty high that you’ve seen a video that Caleb has had a hand in.
