  1. Just getting started with my freelance web/graphic career and I need professionally printed business cards! It’s an expense that would be great to have covered while I get started, and it would be a lot better than the temporary cards I printed out for myself.

  2. I’m in desperate need of new business cards for my freelance design business. I recently moved, never printed new cards and now I desperately need them. I design lots of business cards for other people with no problem … but when it comes to designing things for myself and my own brand it’s like I’m paralyzed and can’t get it just right. Free cards would be the boost I need to finally get designing for myself!

  3. AWESOME! I would love to win some free business cards because right now I have only printed (30 or so) my own from my printer! If I had professionally printed ones I would make more of an effort to hand them out – especially at track and field meets where I do a lot of photogrphy..

  4. I am getting started with freelancing in web and print graphics based in the central part of Africa and need professionally printed cards to embark on the marketing phase. I attach business cards to my proposal and portfolio to get attention and ensure my contact details are readily available to the potential client.

  5. I always have my business cards with me since they are an important marketing tool. I recently had some printed but am moving this weekend and amid all the upheaval with moving my office and starting a new internet provider, etc. the phone company has informed me that I can no longer have the same phone number (I use a LAN line for my business, which is in my home) and that means that my new cards will be obsolete. With a bunch of expenses related to my move, free cards would be great. Plus the UV coating sounds like a really nice bonus!

  6. Free business cards would give me that nudge to take my freelancing to the next level and get my name out there more. Thanks!

  7. I always run out of business cards! I’m a graphic designer, blogger, and marketing professional. I try to get to blog conferences a couple of times out of the year and I always hand business cards out to new people I meet at the conferences (bloggers, brands, sponsors etc.). I also attend local meet up groups, chamber events and networking mixers so I try to keep cards 24/7! You never know who you are going to meet and building relationships is a huge part of my profession. These cards are needed in my world!

  8. I would like to have some color full business cards to make my wallet smarter and to amaze anybody.

  9. Today is my last day at my job, I am quitting to start my own entrepreneur career as a Brand consultant. I would like very much to have those card. 🙂

  10. I’ve evolved quite a bit in my designs over the years and would like a set of business cards to launch my new portfolio website.

  11. Hi I am a web-developer who have recently lost my job…and have made up my mind to start my own freelance business I am working on a new website and logo for my company. Therefore, I am in need of the Business Cards and this will help me a lot.

  12. I am just getting my design business up and running, after working in corporate advertising for what seems like eons! 250 business cards would certainly help me while attending networking events and talking to potential clients!

  13. Hello! I was laid off and it was the best thing ever! I have been following this wonderful website and am so inspired to start a freelance career. The business cards will be yet another forward motion tool to help a girl out 🙂

  14. I would love to win free cards! I have a art show next month and would hand them out!

  15. I’ll love to have this rare opportunity because I just moved from my home state to a more industrial state next to my home state to further pursue my carrer in graphic design. As a freelance designer, I intend to reach out to potential targets and build a customer base in my new geographical location. This opportunity will really help me to minimise the costs of establishing myy business here and getting started. Thank you in anticipation.

  16. Do you ship business card international ? I live in Malaysia 🙂

  17. Being a recent graduate and being faced with the daunting task of job searching can be terrifying, but I had it covered. Within a week of graduating I had landed a pretty good first job and was all set to enjoy my world travels over the summer before returning to America and starting said job. Everything was looking pretty peachy for me.

Then I came home to an email that basically read, “We lost a big client and can no longer afford to hire you.” *

    Bye, bye to being employed.

It’s upsetting to lose my promised source of income (read: source of material to trade for video games and chocolate), but at the same time I think it might turn out to my advantage**. I have always wanted to be self-employed, and I have the passion and many of the skills needed to run a small business. I discovered Graphic Design Blender while looking for new job prospects, and have since decided to start a freelance business. Millo also convinced me to redesign my website (still under construction but almost done) and revamp my social media marketing.

So far everything is going well, but I need new business cards! My old ones are woefully in need of an update and while I have the new ones designed and ready to go, it would be fantastic to win 250 free cards. Please consider me!

    * The company did call me and made sure that I was okay. I can’t really fault them, since the client who pulled out on them was really the one who caused my de-hiring. We’re all still friends. They’re still awesome.

** The 0% chance that I might be able to actually participate in the family trip to Disney this year has risen to a 50% chance, so that’s a plus.

  18. I’ve been freelancing for a few years, and have yet to actually get myself business cards. I have a lot of national clients, but very few locally. I would love to advertise more locally and get my name out there.

  19. Since I last had business cards printed, I’ve updated my logo, and worse of all, had to change my phone number! So, my current cards are borderline worthless right now. Would love to get some new ones printed. Plus, I bought your ebook, that has to count for something, right? 🙂

  20. I’ve just finished undergrad and am on the job hunt. Luckily, the time off has given me the opportunity to get my freelance business started, with a few clients already on deck. However, until the jobs are completed I have little cash flow coming in, and having the expense of business cards taken care of would be such a relief and catalyst to my business.

  21. One word: Rebrand. I made some rookie mistakes when I finally decided to open up shop beyond word of mouth and repeat clients and actually brand myself. I picked a name that I thought sounded professional and ‘smart’ . . . a latin word that few can pronounce and fewer can spell.
I am in the process of rebranding now. I’ve learned the importance of staying simple and personal (and not trying to turn “me” into “we”), but I have almost 500 business cards that are pretty much useless. Winning 250 business card would be amazing.
