Client Onboarding

Client Onboarding is the process of bringing a new client into a freelancer’s workflow, from the initial introduction to the final payment. It is the process of creating a positive and lasting relationship between the freelancer and the client, which can be critical for future success.

Throughout the onboarding process, freelancers must provide detailed information about their services, ensure that their client understands their competitive advantages, and ensure that the client is comfortable with their working agreement. This includes everything from discussing the payment process to creating a contract that outlines expectations and responsibilities.

Onboarding also allows freelancers to create a plan for working with their client, and to establish reasonable expectations for both parties. By taking the time to properly onboard clients, freelancers can ensure that they are properly compensated and that the project runs smoothly.
