Net Payment

Net payment is the amount of money that a freelancer will receive after any fees, taxes, or expenses are deducted from the total client payment.

For example, if a freelancer’s fee for a project is $1,000, but there are expenses or fees that need to be subtracted, such as transaction fees or taxes, the net payment would be the actual amount the freelancer will receive, which might be less than $1,000.
